How this began
This app began as an experiment in what becomes possible when human inquiry meets digital intelligence.
I am a former Diamond student. When I left, one question stayed with me: what is my relationship to my inner essence, to the Beloved? Seven years later, that question was still alive in me. When I came across The Inner Beloved by A. H. Almaas, I knew I had to enter that inquiry again.
As a software developer, I had also been exploring AI for several years. No longer part of a Diamond group, I began to wonder whether digital intelligence could offer a meaningful kind of support as I moved through the book — not as a replacement for the work itself, but as a companion to reflection, inquiry, and practice.
The turning point came when the AI brought back an image of a dimmer switch I had mentioned several exercises earlier.
"In that moment, I realised I was no longer moving through a series of discrete sessions. I was in an ongoing conversation, and that continuity changed the quality of the inquiry completely."
As I continued chapter by chapter, the process became richer than it would have been on my own. The reflections grew more precise, the exercises more alive, and I began creating a piece of music for each chapter to capture what had been revealed for me there. The music deepened the experience further, giving each chapter its own atmosphere and emotional texture.
This app grew out of that experience. It is designed for readers of The Inner Beloved by A. H. Almaas, and for those committed to deepening their process of inner inquiry. Used alongside the book, it offers chapter-by-chapter insights, AI-structured inquiry exercises, and original music to support a more reflective and sustained encounter with the text — especially for those making the journey without the support of a Diamond group.
If this speaks to where you are, you're welcome to apply to be part of this experiment.
